THREE RED LADIES

Taken during a street photography walk in Chinatown, New York, shortly after skating the nearby LES Skatepark(my favourite in the city).

I’m always drawn to the large crosswalks in the city and the plethora of people that walk amongst each other on them.

There was a green container like thing on the corner which I hopped up on to get a higher angle and crouched for about 10 minutes or so.

You would think I looked crazy but honestly, in New York I probably fit right in, people turn a blind eye to most things in the city as its melting pot of the weird and wonderful.

I wasn’t quite sure what I was waiting for, camera in hand, but I knew I was waiting for something to happen. As soon as I saw these three ladies In red jackets I knew it was time. To me its not and exceptional or special photo but its a moment I’m happy I captured.
