Jacob and Kay were my right and left hands on this trip to Barcelona to shoot with Louis Vuitton. This photo was taken on the rooftop of The Edition hotel. I’ll never forget the feeling when Kay & myself realised there was a rooftop and went up there for the first time to see a 360 view of Barcelona. There is something to be said about being lower class kids from single parent households in places like Slough & Newham, and ending up in one of the fanciest hotels in Barcelona for work. Surreal to say the least.
The shoot was also one of the smoothest I’ve ever done, Jacob is literally the best DOP I know, you can trust him with anything and he’ll always come up with some dope ideas of his own. Kay, my mentor and brother is dependable as ever in producing this shoot with me.
We also collaborated again with rising Movement Director Yagamoto on this shoot who helped us in relaxing the models and preparing them for some dance inspired motion.
