SAINA

Talented singer, model and DJ Saina during a studio session in West London. I first noticed Saina on instagram posting an acoustic guitar cover from her back garden. Immediately noticed her voice and how special it was so after following each other and chatting, we worked together on a couple of Photo series.

We also noticed during the studio session that we had a bunch of mutual friends including musicians Matilda Mann and Lord Apex. Both good friends of mine and who’m I’d worked with previously and both people Saina had grown up and gone to school with. Moments like this make you realise how small the creative industries are and we all come across each other at different points.

A couple of years later I ended up working with her again for the cover of her single "Not On My Side". We wandered the streets of Central London shooting Cinestill 800 to capture a neon lit, Wong Car Was feeling to our images series. Saina like the collection so much she used them as press photos for the rest of the year.
