VINNIE HAGER

Towards the end of 2022 at the beginning of 2023, My good friend & talented artist Vinnie Hager and I happened to be visiting New York at the same time. Thus we ended up ended being psuedo roommates at our mutual friend Max Kulchinsky’s house.

During this short time (a week and some change) we experienced all extremes of New York weather. From torrential rain. Bitter cold with snow laced winds and sunny and warm enough to skate in a t-shirt. What a strange month March is.

On one if the aforementioned snowy-days, Vinnie exclaimed that we should go outside and take some pictures. I obliged and this polaroid is one of those. I really enjoy thie symmetry of this image and how well balanced the contrast is to allow you to still see detail in all areas.

The previous September whilst also staying with Max & Vinnie, he was kind enough to make me a personalised art piece that was even in my favourite colour. If anything these photos are my way of sharing each -others art.
